About CHARA RODRIGUERA
Chara is a dedicated mother, wife, yoga teacher, Life Program facilitator, writer, actress, and creative spirit. She is committed to sharing empowering messages through yoga instruction, guided meditations, books, and uplifting films that convey universal truths.
After graduating with honors from Rutgers University in 1992 with degrees in Communication and Visual Arts, Chara embarked on a career in media production, contributing to PBS, NYTV, Nickelodeon, and Turner Broadcasting.
To reduce stress-related issues, she began practicing Yoga in 1995, which transformed her life and over the years led her to develop her unique style called Sol Path Yoga. Chara choreographs her yoga classes with care around monthly principles, blending movement, postures, alignment, breath-work, and guided meditation to support well-being and personal growth on and off the mat.
Alongside Richard Gange, she co-developed and co-facilitated The Optimal Life and The Dream Life Programs designed to cultivate mindfulness and inspiration, and teaching advanced skills for consciously creating a life in harmony with the true self.
Chara has trained extensively with renowned instructors such as Claire Diab, Rashmi Sue Jenkins, and John Friend, earning certifications in various yoga disciplines and mindfulness practices. Her mission is to continue sharing the transformative gifts of yoga and mindfulness for years to come.
